Many patients are aware of the rapidly growing field of cold laser therapy.  Cold laser therapy or  Low-Level Light Lasers (LLLT) has proven itself to be an effective partner in the reduction of pain and pain causing conditions.

EML3 LaserThe basic premise is that LLLT stimulates the activity of the cells within our body.  This increased activity within the cells is called "Cellular Amplification" which won a Nobel Prize in Medicine in 1994.

The need to find ways to enhance healing, decreased pain and inflammation, and therefore speed recovery is imperative to the ever increasing cost of medical care.

Cold Lasers / Low-Level Light Lasers  are different than other lasers and that they have no thermal (Heating) effect and stimulate rather than destroy tissue.  Cold lasers, in fact, have been used for decades for multiple applications and have demonstrated no apparent side effects.

The bundles of light energy emitted by the laser are received by the cells in your body and increase their cellular energy.  This affects the overall biologic process of the cell that has been stimulated.  These processes are essential mechanisms in tissue healing, reduction of pain and production of endorphins, reduction of swelling, reduction of scarring and enhanced tissue remodeling, proliferation of circulation and increased oxygen delivery required in all injured tissues.

Dr. Beede and his staff look forward to bringing you, once again, leading-edge technology in our quest for ever improving ways of reducing your pain and ailments, returning you to a pain free active and healthy lifestyle.
